Leaders for the Strategic Future is simple. It is about Being a leader rather than acting like a leader. Being a leader is successful in all situations; even in the worst of circumstances, you will be a respected leader.

Transformational learning, unlike informative learning, provides the opportunity to become aware of our interpretation and beliefs of "the way it is." That is, we reflect on our underlying assumptions of "what is." And this allows us to dramatically expand our opportunities and possibilities.

How will this happen?

  1. You will not change who you are. But through hard work and courage you will experience a transformation.
  2. You will discover and confront your inauthenticities. (Yes, we all have them).
  3. You will be open and ruthlessly honest about your Way of Being* and acting.
  4. You will be open to transforming your Frame of Reference*, including your understanding of what leadership is.
  5. You will change your World View*. (This is about who you are, not politics)
  6. You will discover an unconstrained freedom to be, to be appropriate to what is called for in any situation, good or bad.
  7. This new way of being will not diminish over time as management fads come and go. It will become more and more effective as you practice your transformation in everyday life.

* These terms have very specific meanings in transformational work that are somewhat different than everyday usage.
